Global Awareness

Through the publication of periodic newsletters, regular bulletin updates, interactive presentations at churches and schools, our website and the development of educational resources, we aim to make our members aware of tangible opportunities to come alongside their international neighbour in thoughtful prayer, sharing of resources and application of skills. Through these means, we report on the projects supported but also explore the concepts of poverty alleviation, interdependent partnerships and christian stewardship in a world of need.  Faithworks, a subcommittee of CRWRF since 1996, provides both active service and guided learning opportunities for our members through SALT (Serving and Learning Together) trips. These teams participate in both international short-term trips and local urban service days.
