Child Development

Since its inception in 1965, CRWRF has supported the care of vulnerable children by standing in the gap with partners who provide safety, food, education, vocational training and a loving community in many different areas of the world. Orphanages (now Rescue Homes) have been the primary vehicle of supplying this need. We believe that through these Homes, each child will be equipped to discover and develop the unique gifts that God has given them for His glory and the service of their neighbour. Looking at the narrative of Moses as a model, we consider the vulnerability of the child, the opportunity of those whom God has placed around the child to come to his support and the opportunity that the child has to respond as they develop the gifts received.
